Hi, I'm Karthik.

I live in Chennai, India, and work as a systems engineer. Most days involve servers, code, and trying to convince computers to behave. Outside of work, I spend far too much time reading, taking photos of ordinary things, playing games, and writing about the experiences before I forget them.

This site exists because I realized I was forgetting too many ordinary days.

Not the big milestones. Those are easy to remember. It's the little things that slowly disappear. A conversation with a relative. A long drive. A movie that stayed with me. A really good cup of tea.

So I started writing them down.

The timeline is where I keep those memories.

The essays are for thoughts that took a little longer to form.

The library keeps brief notes on films, television, games, books, and music that stayed with me.

The photos are ordinary moments I wanted to keep seeing.

Neither is meant to be polished or complete. They're just a way of keeping memories and ideas somewhere outside my own head.
